Copenhagen, Denmark, 12.08.2025 - Liva Healthcare, a leading European health tech company specialising in scalable digital care for people living with chronic conditions, today announced the acquisition of Diætisthuset, Denmark’s largest network of dietitian-led clinics.

This strategic acquisition strengthens Liva’s position in the Danish healthcare market. It marks a significant step in building a fully integrated care model that combines digital and in-person dietetic and coaching support with clinically-supervised weight loss medication and behavioural support for people managing obesity, pre-diabetes, and type 2 diabetes.

Martin Paarse, CEO of Liva Healthcare, said: “Diætisthuset has built a strong brand and clinical presence in Denmark, offering trusted, high-quality support to people seeking lifestyle change.”

“By bringing Diætisthuset into the Liva family, we’re creating a unique continuum of care, combining best-in-class digital and in-person dietetic and coaching support and medical pathways, including GLP-1 treatment. This is a crucial step towards delivering personalised, accessible and effective care at scale.”

Founded in 2005, Diætisthuset operates a network of in-person clinics across Denmark and has built long-standing relationships with insurance companies, municipalities, and general practitioners. With Liva’s digital capabilities and pan-European presence, the combined offering will unlock new possibilities for public-private partnerships and employer-funded healthcare.

Over the coming months, Diætisthuset will be fully integrated into Liva’s operations. A key focus will be on complementing Diætisthuset's in-person services with digitised patient journeys, improving access to care, and strengthening Liva’s multidisciplinary care model.

Martin Paarse continues: “Our shared mission is to make lasting lifestyle change possible for more people. Together, we will serve individuals through whichever channel suits them best; be that a clinic, via the Liva app, or a hybrid of both.”
