Liva Healthcare (Liva), a European market leader in scalable digital health coaching, has appointed Sarah Beeby as Managing Director, UK. Sarah will be responsible for representing the UK market at board level and is a new member of the executive management team. In the past two years, Liva has secured contracts as a provider for multiple public and private health programmes, including the NHS’ Digital Weight Management Programme and Diabetes Prevention Programme. From this strong foundation, Sarah will shape the next phase of Liva’s growth in the UK, which is a key market for the company.

Sarah is a well-known leader in the health tech space across Europe and the US. She has founded health start-ups and been instrumental in the growth of several businesses in the field of clinical research, most recently Clinithink and Synexus. She has a real passion for using data to accelerate innovation and improve clinical outcomes at scale.

Sarah Beeby, UK Managing Director at Liva Healthcare, comments:

“We know that lifestyle and behavioural change play a huge role in reducing the cases of preventative diseases like type 2 diabetes. But historically, access to the practical and emotional support needed to make the difference has been hampered by cost and logistical obstacles. Technology holds huge potential to enable preventative care at scale, that has not yet been fully embraced. To ensure the long-term affordability of health services, like the NHS, we need to harness technology to deliver early interventions at population scale.

“I’m thrilled to be working with an innovative health tech like Liva to make high-quality health coaching more accessible so more people can feel supported in working towards achieving a healthier lifestyle and taking control of their long-term health outcomes.”

André Sode, CEO at Liva Healthcare, adds:

“It’s great to welcome someone with as much experience and commercial know-how as Sarah to our team. She brings a wealth of knowledge of the clinical trials and health systems spaces, which will be key to supporting Liva’s strong partner network in the UK market. UK is a key market for Liva, and Sarah is a perfect fit for the role as she embodies Liva’s dedication to proving a truly scalable yet personalised solution, which tackle some of the world’s biggest systematic healthcare challenges.”
