This month the Liva Healthcare digital health platform has been recognised by ORCHA, a leading health app evaluation organisation, with a top-level four rating.

ORCHA

With four million health apps being downloaded every day, and 325,000 to choose from, it’s hard for healthcare practitioners and  health bodies to find the best apps. ORCHA is the world’s leading health app evaluation and advisor organisation. Its role includes helping governments and health and social care organisations to choose and deliver health apps that will safely make the biggest impact in terms of improving outcomes.

The score

The platform looks at an app’s compliance with standards, guidance and best practice in three distinct areas. These areas are around data and security, clinical assurance and user experience.

After an extensive review, Liva Healthcare was awarded a level four mark of 82%. In addition, the app was placed in 6th place as ‘one of the best apps for treating diabetes’. This list includes apps which monitor blood glucose like Dario Diabetes Management and others specifically designed for gestational diabetes such as GDm-Health.

Kristoffer From, CEO of Liva Healthcare comments, “we welcome third-party reviews of our platform to ensure we always meet the highest standards of quality, customer experience and data security. We are pleased with the outcome and I would like to thank our team for their hard work in securing this top accreditation”.
